Two men carjack a woman at gunpoint in a Walmart parking lot in Wisconsin

Occurred May 28, 2014.


A woman was robbed at gunpoint of her money and her car, in the parking lot of a Walmart store in Franklin, Wisconsin.  The car was found shortly after.  She was unharmed.

A woman was robbed at gunpoint in a Walmart parking lot Wednesday night in Franklin.
Police said she was robbed and her vehicle was stolen around 9:30 p.m. at the store's lot on 27th Street near Sycamore Avenue.
The 56 year-old woman was not injured and her car was found a few blocks away with the assistance of On-Star.
Two men have now been identified for the carjacking.
Franklin police said James Gill, 21, was taken into custody on June 6. He was charged with armed robberies in the city of Milwaukee, West Milwaukee and Franklin.
A warrant has been obtained for the second suspect, Norman Smith, III, 24, according to the Franklin Police Department.
