Police shoot at drug suspects at Florida Walmart

Crime scene at Bradenton Walmart
Occurred July 5, 2012.

Undercover police went to the Bradenton, Florida, Walmart parking lot to arrest some people for selling narcotics.  The driver of a vehicle attempted to flee and ran over one of the policemen.  Another policeman fired two shots at the driver, missing, and the driver got away.  Two other suspects were arrested.

From an article:

According to Bradenton Police Lt. John Affolter, undercover narcotics detectives were attempting to arrest several suspects who police say were involved in an illegal narcotics transaction in the parking lot of Walmart.
The driver of the vehicle attempted to flee, striking an undercover officer before striking an occupied parked car, according to reports. The suspect then sped toward another officer who fired his weapon twice. Affolter said no one was struck by the two rounds.
The suspect fled to the rear parking lot before running away and is still at large. Two suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the case.
