Dispute turns into shooting at Mississippi Walmart

Occurred February 21, 2012.

Two men, Thomas Wansley and Jeremiah Wilson, had a dispute in the parking lot of a Jackson, Mississippi Walmart. Wansley pulled up in his car next to Wilson's car and opened fire despite other shoppers nearby.  Wilson was struck three times.  An off-duty police officer responded. Wansley pointed his gun at the officer, and the officer fired but missed. Wansley then surrendered.

Both men had female passengers at the time, neither of which were wounded.
