Why are there so many shooting incidents and other gun crimes on Walmart property?

Argument at Virginia Walmart escalates to shooting, with one man injured

Occurred April 8, 2012.

Two men got into an argument in a Walmart parking lot in Lynchburg, Virginia.  One, Daneion Scott Jennings, age 23, pulled out a gun and fired on the other, wounding him.

From an article:

At 1:29 a.m. officers responded to 3900 Wards Rd at the Wal-Mart in reference to a disorderly group in the parking lot. When Officers arrived, they found a large group of people on the lot, and an adult male that had been shot. 
Officers were able to identify the suspect quickly, and he was taken into custody without incident. The firearm was also recovered and seized at the scene. 
The male victim was transported the Lynchburg General Hospital with non-life threatening injury. 
This incident appears to be an ongoing verbal dispute between parties, and was not a random act. 
The suspect was identified as Daneion Scott Jennings, white male, 23 years of age, from Forest, VA. Jennings has been charged with Malicious Wounding, and the Use of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony.
